Over the course of 20 years, I collected experiences. I created photographs that documented my daily life. I captured the  weather passing through, the landscapes, the people and the shifting tides. When life became more complex, I sought refuge in nature and creation. The ocean carried me, held me, washed me clean. I found my will to carry on and my true purpose in this physical plane.

This body of work is the culmination of my experiences and process during this time. In the in between hours of life, I created to understand what could not be understood with a rational mind. Voices inside of me lost their urgency. The tyranny of  self-doubt lifted. I learned to listen. I had been following society’s expectations blindly, stumbling through my professional life filled with the weight of other’s expectations.  

I began to follow the signs. When I followed the signs, the path was revealed. and my life became my art.
