Julia and Luisa

Julia and Luisa are the twin daughters of two wonderful friends of mine, Marianna and Joao Pedro. I grew up visiting Marianna in Brazil every summer, and our mothers attended elementary school together. She recently had twin girls, and  I was excited to be able to get the opportunity to photograph them! We spent the day together, taking pictures and then sharing a delicious traditional Bahian meal called Moqueca that Joao Pedro prepared. It was memorable as  one of the greatest days among family and friends that I can remember, and I am happy to have portraits of their daughters that remind me of that special day.
